Daily Planning Rituals
- Morning Review:
Introduce a "Morning Review" ritual that encourages users to start their day with a quick overview of their tasks, events, and priorities. This could be an automated prompt that appears when the user first opens Morgen each day, guiding them through a series of steps to organize their day. The ritual could include:
- Reviewing tasks and calendar events for the day.
- Prioritizing tasks by dragging and dropping them into a hierarchy of importance.
- Adding or adjusting tasks based on the current day's goals.
- Focus Time Allocation:
Incorporate a feature that allows users to allocate specific blocks of time throughout their day for focused work on their most important tasks. This could be integrated with the calendar view, enabling users to directly drag tasks into time slots, helping them balance their workload with their available time.
- End-of-Day Reflection:
A "Daily Reflection" ritual could be introduced, prompting users to reflect on their achievements and challenges at the end of the day. This could include:
- Marking completed tasks and reviewing pending ones.
- Adding quick notes about what went well or what could be improved.
- Rolling over or rescheduling tasks for the next day.
- Integrations and Automation:
To enhance these rituals, consider deeper integrations with productivity tools and automation platforms (e.g., TickTick, Notion, Zapier). This would allow users to sync tasks and automate the organization process, making daily planning even more seamless.
- Analytics and Insights:
Finally, providing users with weekly or monthly analytics based on their daily rituals could help them identify patterns in their productivity, allowing for continuous improvement. This feature could offer insights into task completion rates, focus time effectiveness, and more.

Boy, is this one a doozy… it's a constellation of (non-trivial) features that — I must admit — can tie together to offer a great deal of value. At least, for the "right" user.
I just saw that auto-scheduling tasks in progress. I could envision this being a layer built atop that foundational mechanism.
