2-way color syncing with Google/Outlook Calendar

I personally find this to be a large barrier to entry. I can't bring myself to use Morgen as a full replacement for Gcal if I have to first devote time to manually updating the colors for each event in my calendar to do so.

When I right-click on an event in google calendar, I can change this particular event color. In Morgen I can only change color via changing the calendar that event belongs to.
I am using color red to make particular event higher priority and gray to mark it as already completed (if task) or if event no longer take place, but I still want to keep it in my cal.

Sync event colors from Google/Outlook

Currently, colors are only synced for the individual calendars, but not the events. It would be helpful for the event colors to sync as well for visibility.

I spent quite a bit of time assigning colors to google calendars. When i set up morgen the first time all the colors were changed when my google calendars were imported. This is disappointing.

It would be good also to sync Outlook/O365 categories as well; these provide colour as well.

Yes please. Same as others, I use GCal event colour to distinguish activity types visually even though they belong to the same calendar. For example: my "Personal" calendar contains health/fitness, personal admins, leisure, social, chores — it would be tedious and make no sense to make separate calendars for each group of activities. But I'd still like to tell them apart at a glance through tag colours.

It would also be good to change the colour of the event (or change the tag) in the Morgen calendar with a right click option, rather than having to open the entire event. Other common options would be great with a right click too

I feel we need more context here.
Are you using Morgen alongside the Google calendar calendar, and if so, why? In Morgen, you can assign colors to events by assigning a tag and the assumption is that one would only use Morgen and forget about the Google Calendar interface.

Marco Ancona (Morgen co-founder): for me, Morgen on desktop is great, but I still prefer to use Google calendar on phone, as it currently has superior UI/UX compared to Morgen's mobile app.

Custom colors can be assigned by assigning a custom tag. Would you prefer color and tags to be separate?
This also somewhat relates to https://morgen.canny.io/feature-requests/p/tags-for-tasksthe

Marco Ancona (Morgen co-founder): Color doesnt sync with google calendar, if i change color on my phone on which i am using google calendar it doesnt reflect on morgen.

Would be really nice, i use Reclaim right now, until Morgen does it by it's own. Coloring is here key :)
