CalDav Tasks in Morgen would be amazing to channel all sources of possible tasks into one unified front end. This would increases my flexibility regarding my tasks management if I were to go away from Obsidian or other solutions, while being able to still use Morgen.

Ability to link to our task manager via CalDav is the last missing piece that would allow us to run our whole workflow through Morgen - which is in every other way superior to the native Mac calendar. Would be great if this could be prioritised - an important feature for those organisations trying to avoid Google & Microsoft.

I really love Morgen, but this feature is a dealbreaker to me. I use Vikunja's CalDAV tasks and I'm unable to sync them here.

Heard of Morgen due to CalDAV support and was super interested, and then super disappointed to see that it's
only
for calendar. This is a huge miss imoS

I wanted to try Morgen because i needed a good todo manager on Windows, and a new calendar tool with build in todos would be better than my current calendar app (One Calendar). However it doesn't seem like you support CalDAV tasks. I use mailbox.org for privacy and non-proprietary standard support, so I need this integration for Morgen to be of interest to me.

For me, the lack of CalDAV tasks support is really a blocker for using Morgen's tasks functionality and am satisfied with the expressivity of iCalendar. I do not want to use a proprietary backend for this. (Also, iCalendar allows for really nice relationship encoding: one can make trees of vevents and vtodos and mixtures thereof, so lists of subtasks, but also events belonging to a task and tasks belonging to an event; apart from task trees, almost no tool makes proper use of this yet.)

This would make Morgen one of the only calendar apps out there to support CalDAV for both calendars and tasks. The landscape of apps that can do this on Linux is slim and would be popular among the (admittedly small) group of Linux users.

That would be amazing
