Hey, I have football subscription calendars in Google. Although I've added the Google calendar to Morgen, the subscriptions are not showing up. I know the iOS app doesn't work with subscriptions, but I thought this might be a workaround?

Adam Cairns: Hi. Just confirming this was resolved during the conversation in discord?

For those landing here, a workaround for the moment is to connect the subscription to a Google Calendar. It will be displayed in the Morgen mobile app if the Google account is connected.

Marco Ancona (Morgen co-founder): Sadly, this isn't a great workaround. I tried this and Google throttles the connection. It can be 24-48 HOURS before updates come through. Considering I have to subscribe to my primary work Outlook calendar (my company won't allow a direct connection), I need those updates in real time (or as close as possible). I use Morgen desktop exclusively because of this and only use mobile for adding tasks to my inbox.

Kat:Oh, I didn’t realize that updates were so far apart in Google Cal. We are doing some major refactoring on our backend to support subscriptions on mobile natively.

Marco Ancona (Morgen co-founder): yeah, it's pretty bad. The end user consensus on Reddit seems to be that Google does it intentionally to force use of their ecosystem. Glad to hear that it is in the roadmap to move into into mobile.
