Collapse filtered list view
LosCharlie
Once I filter all tasks that I want to view, it would be nice to have a way to collapse and expand the filter to save space.

I love the filters, the way they operate, and that you can add as many sources as you want. I'd really like to see an option to save the filter as a view to click on for regular reference, so I can still check my integrated tasks, without having to clear and re-do the same filter every time I need it.

adding to this that linear already has a killer views feature, so being able to pull in my views from linear would be great

Unified Task List
J
Jamie
If using Morgen with multiple tools, it would be helpful to have a single list that has all tasks together. Even read-only could be a good step.
For an example, I am using tasks on Morgen + Google Tasks + Obsidian. If needing to click across each different task lists, it's easy to miss tasks.
At this stage, whilst you can bring different tasks lists into Morgen, you still can't have a single task list!

Hi Jamie,
If you click on the filter option at the top of the tasks sidebar you can select as many task sources as you would like to create a unified task list.
Is this what you are looking for?
Danny Hatcher
Jamie That is a good idea. Does this request match what you are thinking?
Saving the filtered lists as an option to click on.
If that is the case I can merge these 2 requests.

Danny Hatcher Yes, perfect.
From my end, it seems like the Filtered view saves anyway! I'm set, cheers.

Allow Multiple "Views" in Integrations
J
James
It would be really cool if you could have like 2 "Morgen Task" Integration tabs that would allow you to seperate tasks into a second view or section.
So you could have like a "Personal Tasks" view with multiple lists and then a "Work Tasks" view. keeping both seperate and distinct.

Is there amy option tò have this on Android? I only see "tasks" but have to manually check each app, as seen in the attachment...

Andres: There are quite a few Mobile Improvements that people have requested: https://morgen.canny.io/feature-requests/p/mobile-improvements
This is something that could be added.

Danny Hatcher But id does not seem to be thje same request as the one in the thread or the ones proposed. Is there something i'm missing, or should I create another suggestion from scratch?
Danny Hatcher
Andres ah, no. I was just suggesting that I might add this to the mobile thread 😊
Danny Hatcher
This sounds like the custom filters that have recently been added.
Could do with some more features but would this be a solution?

Danny Hatcher No, I don't think so - I'm talking about a unified inbox where all tasks from all integrations are listed in one list - similar to an email client where you can see all connected emails, e.g., iCloud, Google, Outlook in one inbox, rather than going through each separately. In this case, Todoist, Obsidian, Morgan tasks all shown in one unified list together. That was you can visualise your priority tasks / today tasks etc in one view.
Danny Hatcher
Ben Yes, that is what the filter does. You can specify any task source, task list and other information. Maybe I am missing something.

Danny Hatcher Got it - had not understood this. This appears to have the functionality. An option to click - all integrations all tasks would be great - that's really what's missing, there is still a manual element rather than just clicking a button - as you would click the integration icon, and everything just appears, and you can manipulate the view from that.
Danny Hatcher
Ben There has been discussion in the discord to have 'saved' filtered views.
So an 'all list' or an 'important' list etc...
B
Ben
Danny Hatcher that would work, and on reflection, using the view rather than filter wouldn't work with multiple applications - so yes saved filtered view would be good - perhaps also a way to hide the filters being used as well as this could get beastly! example below.
Danny Hatcher
Ben Yes!
I have a similar experience with Obsidian, Morgen, Google tasks and Notion tasks all going into one view.
FYI - just edited the request title for future reference for the team.
