when brainstorming with the tasks list, it would be helpful to then be able to drag a task onto another task, with the result that the moved task becomes a sub-task of then intended parent task.

I think subtask functionality need improved as it do not work that nicely... However I did notice that if you create first subtask then you can drag and drop other existing tasks there and those will be moved as subtask.
