Notifications are from the calendar or event.
If events are created in a calendar with notifications on, all events in that calendar will send notifications.
Do you think that is what is happening?

Danny Hatcher exactly.
I want both "Calendar1" and "Calendar2" to be able to provide notifications.
In my case the event propagation between each aims for providing availability across calendars, therefore should not duplicate notifications. (In don't care what happens in the other calendar, only that I'm not available)
"Event1" in "Calendar1" should notify, the propagated "Busy (from Morgen)" in "Calendar2" could/should not.
Anyway, I do not see a use case for 2 simultaneous notifications on a single event in Morgen. I get that propagation in another service on another device should all notify on the event but the Morgen app could handle the notification merge.

Luc You could disable the calendar alert for the propagated event but I assume you want Morgen to do that automatically.
Is that correct?

Danny Hatcher indeed, I propagate the event automatically therefore I can't reasonably disable them all manually.
