Dedicated apple watch app

I would like to see a dedicated Apple Watch app that doesn't require a connection with an iPhone to view upcoming events and tasks. As I work in an educational environment, I am not allowed to have my phone on me. I also spend very little time at my computer when the students are in class.

Would love to see this as well, very often dont have my phone on me whether its because im in the gym or in class, previously used fantastical and the watch app was the best companion through the day.

any update on this?

If morgen was able to display events as a complication on the Apple Watch (where my current calendar says “Busy”) this would be a first to market feature that motion, reclaim, any unification app does not have.

Foster Farmer Fantastical has this already - I've recently switched to Morgen from Fantastical and agree this would be a very good (essential) feature to have!

Ben same here, switched from fantastical to morgen and sometimes I really notice how useful it was once its missing on my watch

Ben I don't think they had this back when I made the post originally but perhaps I missed it. Thanks for pointing this out.
I'd still much rather have a Morgen complication. I simply cannot stand the Fantastical/iCal "inbox method" of invitations. Things get out of sync so quickly.
10/2024 Workaround:
With Apple Calendar now having a Morgen integration, you can setup calendar propagation to your iCal to acheive a similar result.I actually setup two additional propagation workflows:
- Work Calendar to iCal
- Personal Calendar to iCal
Now my watch is much more accurate!
