Duplicate event hotkey/right click option (Alt+Drag)
in progress

As a person who spends a lot of time in Premiere Pro, I've gotten the habit of uing ALT+drag to duplicate material.
I just now realised that I have been trying to do that with events in Morgen intuitively without thinking.
I would love if it was possible to implement this, as it would save a lot of clicks.

Yes! I'm so used to doing this with past calendar apps, and the fact that it doesn't work in Morgen is probably my biggest frustration with the app. The current copy/paste implementation is also quite clunky to use.

There should be an option in the right click context menu on the desktop and the web to duplicate an event - in addition to the existing option to copy.

Duplicate Events with ctrl + dragging

Holding ctrl / alt / option and dragging an event could duplicate it and create the new event in the place where you drop it. This is useful for "planning" your week, like quickly adding a commute event to multiple days, at different times each day. Or if you need a follow up meeting, just ctrl + drag the current meeting to schedule the next one.

I would suggest there be two options here. First, the right-click should give a "Duplicate Event" option that duplicated the event and opens the duplicate to allow the target calendar to be selected.
In addition, Adam's keyboard shortcut would be an additional way to expose the "duplicate event" feature.
There are competitors to Morgen that have this feature, and those of us coming to Morgen from the other products are used to this behavior versus the copy/paste method currently implemented.

Absolutely. Particularly if we can copy into a different calendar.

Absolutely this. This is standard behaviour in loads of apps - including mac calendar. Ironically it's easier to open mac calendar to duplicate events than it is to do it in Morgen

Totally agree with the concept. I've been finding myself doing the same - however - in most of my apps, it seems that holding CTRL+dragging is more common. Of course there are differences between software developers, and perhaps this is a difference between Mac & Win? it would be good for Morgen team to standardise on something as universal as possible.
MS Office (Win) certainly uses CTRL+drag
TradingView (CTRL+drag)
G Suite - Doesn't seem to support this function.
