Hide Morgen Frames on source calendar (different calendar)

TL;DR: I would like Smart Frames to not show up as meetings on other calendar apps by remaining hidden or on another layer that doesn't transmit to other calendars/apps. Specifically, keep it off my iOS calendar app so my time continues to show as "available" on booking tools that aren't Morgen, and does not alert me 3x day every time a Smart Frame session comes up.
Context: I still have to use the iCalendar app regularly on my iPhone for a few reasons, but as related to this issue it's because the Morgen app isn't robust enough to allow for custom repeating calendar entries. For repeating calendar entries, you have to do that through AI on your desktop app to include the cadence (like every other day, or every Tuesday and Friday) and the end date so it doesn't go on forever. And occasionally it doesn't work, so I have to go into my iPhone Calendar app to adjust it. Because of this, Smart Frames has some weird behavior between the two apps.
I don't see Smart Frames on my Morgen mobile app (which I like), but I DO see Smart Frames as meeting appointments on my iOS Calendar app (which I hate). As a result, I get multiple notifications a day on my phone for all of my Smart Frame event starts, which is really annoying.
If I go into the iOS Calendar app on my iPhone to turn off the alarm notifications, it converts all of the Smart Frames into meetings on my Morgan desktop and iOS app, and I then have to delete everything and start over. I didn't understand what was happening the first time, so I've had to start over twice.

+1 +1 +1. It's so annoying to see huge swathes of what look like meetings or events covering my entire day.
Plus... Aarrrgghh!! I
thought
I had found a solution (hack) that would do this. But, wrong. What I did:
- Create a "Frames" calendar and move my frames there.
- Make my "Focus" calendar the default calendar for new events.
- Run the planner expecting it to put tasks on my "Focus" calendar.
I didn't work. It put all the new tasks on the "Frames" calendar. :( And, it wouldn't have been great, because what I really want is my default calendar to be "Work" and my AI Planner events to show up on "Focus," while the frames themselves just aren't visible (on
any
calendar app, including my iOS Calendar app or my Fastmail app).But... potential approach for this feature request:
- Add a "Create AI Planner tasks on [this] calendar" option (to the AI Planner prefs).
This would allow me to put frames on one calendar, meetings on another (by default), and also hide my frames by putting them on a third calendar. The planner would then create tasks on a different calendar (one that I don't hide everywhere).

I want to turn off the Frame default calendar setting.
Dragging tasks onto the calendar and using my default task calendar in preferences, not the Frame calendar.

I couldn't agree more. It would be amazing to have Frames "target" a calendar of the user's choosing so they don't show up as massive time blocks on other calendar apps. Another UI benefit of this is you can color the "Frames/Time Slots" calendar something different to make the tiny frame panels a bit more legible.

I have a similar problem, so I temporarily solved it by creating an additional calendar in Google Calendar named ‘frames,’ where I assign all the frames. In external applications, I have the ‘frames’ calendar unchecked so that it is not visible, and, of course, notifications for this calendar are turned off.

Maciej I’ve done much the same as you. It’s not perfect, and it makes it harder for the AI scheduler to put tasks on the right calendar, but it hides the blocks on say, Fantastical, which I use on mobile.

Maciej I did the same thing, though I named mine "time slots" because the frames interfered with how Krisp.ai was picking up my meetings and incorrectly labeling my transcripts. Ultimately that still caused other issues so I abandoned using frames during my work day as a result.

yes it would be good that I could select calendar where those would be by default added when you drag and drop tasks (or use AI).
I have case that I do not want frames to be shown on my calendar where other ppl look. Therefore I have created other calendar where I have placed frames. Now when I drag and drop my task to calendar it defaults to this "Frame Calendar" and I need manually change this on every task what I schedule to my calendar.
