Many applications (such as Hookmark) can benefit from adhering to the guidelines laid out in the Ubiquitous Linking Manifesto (linked above).
I use Hookmark extensively to link notes to projects, calendar events, and more. Currently this works for me in conjunction with Fantastical, however, I think many could benefit from this functionality being included in Morgen.
As a neurodivergent individual, this type of functionality greatly enhances my productivity while reducing cognitive fatigue. Happy to answer any questions re: this request.

Clickable Capacities URLs

URLs of the form capacities://foo should be recognised by Morgen and become clickable.
Capacities is a rapidly growing PKM app and complements Morgen perfectly: clickable URLs would enhance my workflow greatly and I am sure would be useful to others.
Many thanks

This is something I'd like to see supported too. Ideally _any_ App URL should be tappable inside Morgen. This is a limitation in Notion that drives me bonkers as well. 😝
But past that, it'd be great if Morgen supported Hook, and there'd be a more seamless way to link Tasks & Events to other items in the local system.

This looks interesting.
I use links inside the description of tasks and events to direct me to online sources and local files like my Obsidian.
What else do you have in mind?

Danny Hatcher: Great idea Danny.
Regarding the way Hookmark links to objects, it is possible to have a workflow that looks like this:
- Write some notes in a plain text file pertaining to an upcoming meeting
- Link that text file together with the calendar event
- A colleague sends a pertinent link to a site that could enter the discussion in that meeting, so bidirectional links to the other two resources are made
- Another participant sends a PDF and suggests that a paragraph contains more relevant information - that paragraph gets a bidirectional deep-link to the other resources
- At the time of the meeting, we're able to call up the Hookmark menu to list all of the items that have been linked together that relate to that event.
I've attached another real example below. This time with links between and entry in my Airtable CRM, Things 3, and a related Youtube channel.
Hookmark makes it possible to search for anything that you've related to anything else. You can think of it like Obsdian maps, but for your whole OS. If you've got Setapp, it's available there.
If Morgen supported this type of linking, I'm sure it would make a lot of people in the neurodivergent community happy.
The key takeaway is that searchability, which is not possible through static links embedded in descriptions.
