Have a side bar of notes you can take and turn them into tasks/events on the calendar. Morgen should have most functionality of a productivity tool. The more tools to make us use Morgen as a centralized tool, the better. Notion tasks are cool, but I want a better way to make them and have Notes to take on the side to reference anytime. Can categorize them, make into tasks and more.

Hi Matt, just to clarify - are you asking to create Notion tasks from the notes (at least that's how I read your post)?
It would be good to be able to add tasks in the native app from Morgen, Notion or others, which I guess would be a trickier integration, but would be very helpful.
To start with I would just like Morgen to be able to update not just the deadline in Notion, but also the "do date" for those working with teams.

Libby Skipworth I am curious how you see that working?
Notion doesn't allow multiple dates in a date property but Morgen can have multiple 'do dates' or planned dates.
What date would be synced to Notion?

Hi Danny Hatcher ,
Think I am moving well out of the scope of the original post, perhaps the Morgen moderators could shift this part of the discussion to a more relevant thread, but here are my thoughts....
I believe I can sync the deadline between Notion and Morgen - but moving deadlines should be hard, not easy, so I have inactivated that feature. I did try using that sync as the "do date", but it was messy with multiple work sessions.
If someone is working with other people, say external contractors, who don't have access to their calendar(s) it might help the planning of the contractors, or the project team, to know when they plan to actively work on the task, not just a deadline.
Thinking about some projects where the "managers" have reported at every update that something was on track, but with a new deadline every time - the projects are, unsurprisingly, three years overdue and overspent, but still reported as "on track" 🤯.
Just thinking through how that might work with Notion - it might require a separate data source (say "action plan", linked to a task list database - the deadline is in the task database, and the "action plan" database would have multiple entries linked to the task). I know Morgen isn't working, yet, with multiple source databases, so it would be a separate database.
The Morgen function to schedule a task across multiple sessions could then link to the "action plan" and create the relevant work sessions.
Hope that all makes sense.

Libby Skipworth Thank you for sharing.
My understanding is that pages would act as tasks of a different main project page.
The project deadline (due date), and task deadlines (due dates) being seperate.
This is currently possible.
However, one Notion page can't have a date property with multiple dates. A Notion page can only have multiple dates if there are multiple date properties which wouldn't work with Morgen.

Could you share a use case for this?
This could be a related request: https://morgen.canny.io/feature-requests/p/sticky-note-per-week-day

Danny Hatcher Replied to that post, would like to see both concepts merged into a release
