Obsidian Task Import: Notes as parent tasks

Certain notes should appear as parent tasks to the tasks contained within them.
The note properties should inform the labels shown on the task in the task pane, and certain properties have special meaning e.g.
due_date
, status: 'DONE' | 'IN_PROGRESS' | 'TODO'
(mirroring Tasks plugin custom statuses).Morgen Tasks plugin could support some aspects of this.

Great idea. If the tasks show in Morgen in hierarchical or roll up that would allow a chunk of tasks, or subtask to go on a calendar. Anything that mirrors how tasks can be represented in Obsidian is good when it aligns with Markdown Tasks.
