Great to see this rolled out in the latest update.
Just wanted to flag that markdown links using an alias (ie. "[[Surname, Name|Name]])" are showing up as "Surname, Name|Name" in Morgen. It would be great if tasks would show only the alias ("Name").

Why would this make any sense? (Serious, what is the use case and how will it impact functionality for other users.)
If you encode wiki links into a task that helps with context in Obsidian. Also helps with navigation when working on that task.
The use case needs to be sure only to remove links on the Morgen side, but not harm the value they deliver in Obsidian. That's a lot of extra work.
You control the cross reference in Obsidian, stop using wiki links if you don't like them.

Justin I'm pretty sure this just has to do with how the tasks look in Morgen. It is a bit off-putting to see [[ link text blah blah ]] in the task list in Morgen. Filtering out
[[ ]]
would be a nice touch on the Morgen side to make things more readable. Not using wiki links is not really an option IMO in this case.

Paul T Good point. The request didn't have much context. I use wiki links to cluster key concepts around a task. If it's only in the display at Morgen I can survive.
However, Morgen does a great job rendering HTML. I can click those links to drill down. I'd rather have the wiki links open the original task in Obsidian than be removed.
Paul T
Justin That's another interesting way to go about this. It would be cool if Morgen could open wiki style links in the task directly in Obsidian
Luke Barnard
Justin That's a good point, and we might consider this in future. In principle we could turn the WikiLink into a link that opens Obsidian at the linked note but this was meant to be a quick fix to hide the distracting brackets that don't add anything in Morgen.

Luke Barnard Then as an option in preference hiding the wiki links serves both uses. Reduces distractions in Morgen while still existing in Obsidian.
