Quick toggle option between 12h and 24h time format

It's marked as completed, though it's not implemented fully. There are places where times are still shown in 12h format, even if 24h format is selected. E.g. that's what I see in the event details.

Uladz Zubrycki: Thank you for sharing this. Could you email support about this connect@morgen.so.

Uladz Zubrycki The date/time selector in the event details popup is controlled by your operating system language setting. This is because this is a native component that binds to the operating system settings, and unfortunately it does not allow customizing the format. I am afraid this is indeed a limitation at the moment.

Marco Ancona (Morgen co-founder) my local culture is 24h, so it doesn't sound like a root cause for having 12h in the event details.

Uladz Zubrycki: That's interesting. What format do you see in the local input field if you open the browser here? https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/input/datetime-local
Canny is not a convenient place to discuss this. If you haven't already, please reach out to us by email, so we can open a ticket and investigate this further.

I've sent a message to Intercom, and just checked the response there — a work item has been added to a dev backlog.

As a workaround I have switched app regional formatting to UK, which kept English language for me, but also enabled 24h format in most of the places, but not every unfortunately, e.g. in event details, I still see times as AM/PM.
Having a dedicated setting similar to the one you have in the mobile app is a must.

I am not sure what time zone you are based in.
England (United States) is 12 hour am/pm
England (United Kingdom) is 24 hour
You could also add some time zones to Morgen and then look at all of those when you hold shift while hovering over an event/task.
Can I complete this request or am I misunderstanding something?

Danny Hatcher that is (holding down Shift key to see time zone) is a really cool feature (that was too hard to discover if not this post). I believe (and this is why I voted for) this request ask for a feature to toggle between 24h / 12h
display
without switching timezones (that is - it should be possible to display time formatted in 24h form in the US timezone).Danny Hatcher
Michael: Ah I see.
I will adjust the post title and keep the request open 😁
