Collapse night time

Having nighttime events is rare for me, but night hours occupy a great deal of the timeline. It would be nice to have a way to collapse them by default, if there are no events planned. I haven't tried it, but know that "Hey" has a feature like that.
E.g. here is what I see, when I press the "Go to today" button, which is zero useful info (see the screenshot attached).

You can change when your day starts and ends.
Is this what you are looking for?

Danny Hatcher it's quite close and works as a workaround for me, thank you.
But now, if I have a nighttime event, I will miss it. So there is a room for improvement here.

Uladz Zubrycki: I assume you don't want to zoom in or out of your calendar using the hotkeys [ or ] and don't want to scroll your calendar view either. Is that correct?

Danny Hatcher had no idea about zooming. And I do use scrolling. Just want to minimize amount of useless info on the screen.

Danny Hatcher discussion that you've linked is definitely related. I assume you could merge my request into it.
Thank you!

The way I’d see this working is you set a nighttime start and end then it collapses them since people don’t tend to have the same night times alternatively if only one of the same 6hr block is un marked for every day it could automatically

MaxistheSpy I also think that night hours in that feature should be configurable, they could even vary from day to day. And there should be a way to opt out.
