Focus for task lists

I use Morgen for both work and private tasks.
This leads to a lot of lists and tasks that during the day are not relevant to see, making the task list bar unnecessarily long in my case.
Also, during the weekends, I might want to switch off and not think about work. Seeing many work-related tasks on the "Something left behind" list could be stressful.
It would be nice to turn whole task lists on and off depending on time and context.
This could also be synced with which Calendars are visible.
It would be extra nice if the lists are synced with Apples Focus mode.

With new additions to task filters, show/hide task list options and custom filters has this request been completed?
A related improvement request might be saved lists: https://morgen.canny.io/feature-requests/p/combined-task-list-saved-filtered-views

Brenna Donoghue or Marco Ancona (Morgen co-founder) I think Fantastical is a good example. Firstly you have calendar sets that you can toggle in the interface manually. I think it would be fine to include calendars and tasks within a set. So 1 set for work would be work calendar and tasks.
Then make the task toggle available within the OS automation solutions. I can (for example) toggle my Fantastical set per focus mode within iOS and MacOS using the "Shortcuts" app. Within Android you can expose app shortcuts that can do the same.
Don't know if this is clear at all. Or even doable. For me it would be perfect because it can be automated with tools that integrate with the OS.

We are considering options to toggle on/off tasks sets of tasks lists faster, but we currently have no convinction on what is the best way to do so. We are open for ideas here.

Marco Ancona (Morgen co-founder): If it worked similar to the calendar grouping that would be fantastic. So for example i could say list A & B are part of group 1 etc.

Thanks for the suggestions here and the context about how they would use it. 'Something left behind' will be changing with a new design coming out in mid-August.
Would closing the task bar be sufficient rather than turning on and off? If so, you can do that today - simply click the drawer icon in the top left corner of Morgen to close it. You can then just use calendar sets to quickly only have the calendars you want visible while at work. Does that meet your needs?

Brenna Donoghue: I'm sorry no, not really. I want to see the sidebar during my spare time since I use it to add tasks when I think about them.
I do have turned off the work calendar during the holidays tho and that works fine.
